• I am very close with my family(we are very similar to the family from Coco)
• I am a background actor in film and TV shows
• I am a bookworm(currently on my 139th book this year)
• I am a Disney lover and annual passholder
• I believe in practicing self care and my favorite way to do that is through yoga
• I love Jesus
• I am a chronic pain fighter

A few years ago, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue syndrome. It was a couple months before my wedding, and I was bedridden on many days with pain. In the darkness of this season, I had to learn to let go of what I thought it meant to succeed in life. I clung to the little things to get me through each day.I began to ask myself if I could find magic in everyday life?

Easier said than done, but if we redefine what deserves our attention, it’s possible. It takes opening our eyes and turning back to the basics. It can be easy to get caught up in the “big” things in life. What we want to do as our career, finances, health and perhaps even what kind of legacy we want to leave.

We have all gone through dark seasons, you may even be in one now; whether it be from divorce, illness, losing your job, or doubting everything you’ve once held dear. My advice to you is this: focus on the little things that bring you joy, because I assure you they are bigger than you think.

This blog is dear to my heart, and I can’t wait to share more with all of you. It is meant to be raw, real, fun, uplifting, and a place to have an honest conversation about what it means to be a human in this crazy world.
