There is nothing quite as magical as getting to explore Universal as the sun comes up.
This is one of our favorite parts about staying on property at Universal! You will be able to enjoy the park for an hour before general admission. So I dressed in my favorite Hufflepuff gear and prepared myself to experience a little extra magic.
On this day, our early admission included the Wizarding World’s Diagon Alley. We couldn’t help but snap some other spooky favorites on our way there!
I have yet to give Rip Ride Rockit a try because….well… have you seen that drop?
Maybe someday I will gather enough courage!
We got to see our favorite Transformer on our way. This is a ride we never miss, but I have to admit that we enjoy Island of Adventure’s Spider-man ride more!
Welcome to the Knight Bus, emergency transport for the stranded witch or wizard.
Who could pass up the legendary joke shop created by our favorite Weasley boys?
This is where we always go to get our beloved butterbeer. If I am being painfully honest, I do not like the normal butterbeer. Luckily, their hot butterbeer is better than I ever imagined! Make sure to try it out during the cold months of the year.
Say hello to one of my favorite windows in Diagon Alley! For some reason the bewitched knitting at the Weasley house in the second movie always stood out to me. I feel a fresh wave of nostalgia whenever I pass this window.
Hagrid’s Motorbike is a great place to get a magical photo. There is normally a line to pose with it, but not during early morning admission!
You can get everything on your wizarding school list in the gift shops scattered throughout Diagon Alley. I finally embraced my inner Hufflepuff this year, and I am have many yellow knick knacks on my wish list.
The parks can get extremely crowded during the day, so we really cherish these early hours that our included with our hotel stay. You can ride your favorite attractions more than once and still have time to take photos before Universal officially opens.
Have you stayed at a Universal Resort before? Let me know where you think we should stay next.
We are leaning towards Loews Royal Pacific, but we are open to suggestions. Have a magical day friends!
