- A clean house
- Getting a new candle
- A relaxing glass of red wine
- Watching the Cavs/Warriors game
What are some little things that brought you joy today?
Such a sweet post, I should focus more on the positives and what bring me joy and not so much on the negatives. I have allergies and know soy and beeswax candles are best, I’ve been meaning to try one of the Hearth & Hand from the Magnolia collection at Target. I hear they smell great! Some joyous things that have sparked joy today thus far, having breakfast with my family – my husband doesn’t work weekends which means we get to all have breakfast together, my kids laugh, hearing my boys wrestle and laugh as they play, listening to my girls talk as they play pretend and listening to my baby girls little lion walker make noise as she drags it all throughout the house. Thank you for the reminder that if we change perspective, things aren’t so bad after all. 🙏🏽💛
That sounds like such a great weekend! Perspective is everything <3
Indeed! 😊💛
My list today is more what I’m thankful for than what brought me joy.. 💕
I’m thankful for medicine that helps ease my pain some, for naps, and being able to see a good movie at the theater.
Those are definitely things to be thankful for! What movie have you seen recently?
Ocean’s 8. I liked it!
A glass of red wine always does make me happy too!! My happy list today would be making cinnamon rolls and hot chocolate for the family. I’m glad your day went well, just sad about the cavs/warrior game (at least for me, bf is a cavs fan). <3 <3 <3
PS I’ve nominated you as a Sunshine Blogger Award 😉

Thank you so much Polly! That means so much to me! I may not be able to get post it right away, but it means so much that you thought of me!:)
Hot chocolate might be the only thing better than wine 😉 So sorry about the loss:( It was a rough series for the Cavs
Such a good idea, listing things to be grateful for everyday! I do that but at the end of the day and just before I fall asleep. Theory is that it sets the tone for good dreams. Do you think it works? Hope so.
That theory sounds about right to me! I’ll have to remember to do it before I sleep, I normally do it in the morning:)
This is an amazing list! It’s so important to find happiness in small things 🙂
The small things definitely add up!:)
So far – I’m thankful that my in-laws are coming in late enough tonight that I won’t have to worry about feeding them dinner; coffee, a comfortable place to sit and rest my leg while I write, seeing my husband relax, and watching the pets stretch out and nap. It’s a peaceful morning, and that’s a blessing right there.
That sounds like the perfect day! Peaceful mornings are my favorite:)
I’m thankful for my family and for a clean house today! Thanks for your post. Love being reminded to be grateful.
A clean house makes everything better! 🙂 Gratitude is key!
Riding my horse, making a new recipe (coming Tuesday!), and now snuggling with my dog and my cat!
Love that! It has been so long since I have gotten to ride a horse. Sounds like the perfect day:)
Its so important to stop and appreciate the little things! Youve inspired me to make a little list like that of my own! Thank you for sharing 🙂
It’s always the little things that seem so big when you’re going through something. The little things also make you smile. What an inspiring post!
Thank you so much!
My Husband and children bring me joy every day! (Even if my daughter did just draw all over her clothes with marker! Lol! Iced Coffee makes me happy too! 🙂
Hello. My husband and daughter bring me joy. Enjoyed reading a few of your other posts too and look forward to reading more.
