° Thank & tag the person that has tagged you

° Attach the tag photo

° Answer the questions

° Tag 10-20 friends

Here we go:

° How do you feel at the moment?

Not so hot! I am currently in a bad pain flare, so that has been a bit stressful. On the bright side, I am watching Golden State play with my husband. He makes everything better:)

° What do you need more of in life?

More community 🙂 We moved to Atlanta, GA a year ago and we have made some awesome friends, but I would love to continue to meet new people and build more relationships.

° What would make you happy right now?

If it were my birthday! My husband and I are going to stay at a cute Bed and Breakfast, and I can’t wait! I love taking little weekend getaways.

° What is going on in your life right now?

How do I even begin to answer this question? So much is going on! I am going through a lot of stressful situations, but I am trying hard to take time to take care of myself. I have been staying pretty busy on set, which I always love! I am planning for our Disney World trip in July:) I have been spending a lot of time reading and writing for my blog. It has been such a great outlet for me, and I love the friends that I am making in the process:)

° What am I most grateful for? List 10 things.

-My husband

-My relationship with Jesus

-My sweet family

-Coffee & Red Wine

-That I get to read so many incredible books

-My friends who are always there for me

-My blog!

-My apartment, I love it so much!

-My crazy job that always keeps me on my toes

-Harry Potter

° When did you experience joy this week?

I experienced joy visiting my husband’s parents in Wyoming! They are the most amazing people. We only get to see them once a year, so it was such a treat to spend quality time with them. They love going to the casino, so we spend a good amount of time on slot machines;)

° List a small victory/success?

I stayed relatively calm during a terrifying flight. In the past, I would have probably been crying from fear. I finally got to put my mindfulness into practice and focused on my breath. I felt proud of myself for putting what I’ve learned to the test.

° What is bothering me & Why?

A few weeks ago, I got my blood taken for very important testing. After two weeks, I was informed that they lost my sample. I had to go back in and get my blood drawn again. I am feeling very anxious to get the results back from my doctor.

° What are my priorities at the moment?

My marriage. I am currently doing “The Happiness Project” from Gretchen Rubin. This month I am focusing on marriage. I am read 4 marriage books and making it a priority to be intentional.

° What do I love about myself?

I love my hair, my work ethic, and my appreciation for everyday kindness.

° Who means the world to me & why?

My husband. Since becoming sick, my husband has been my rock. He takes care of me and makes sure that I know I am loved. He is creative, hard working, and it is safe to say I married up.

° If I could share one message with the world, what would it be?

We are far more alike than we are different.

° What advice would I give my younger self?

Oh goodness! I have a whole post dedicated to this coming up. In short: It will get better. You will find real friends who will always love you. Life is so much bigger than high school. That boy that makes fun of you now will be hitting on you in just 3 years. No one cares about your weight as much as you do. And above all, be kind. Yes, even to those who are not kind to you.

° What’s draining my energy?

Chronic pain and family stress.

° What does my ideal morning look like?

° What makes me come alive?

Reading a book that I truly connect to.

° What is something I would love to learn?

I would love to learn Aerial Yoga! I plan to take a beginner class this year:)

° Where would I want to live my ideal life?

I would love to live here in Atlanta or LA. I love being so close to film sets and the opportunities it provides me with.

° Where would you like to travel in the next 5 years?

So many places!

-Australia & New Zealand

° What hobbies would I like to try?

-Aerial Yoga

° At the end of my life, what do I want my legacy to be?

I want to be remembered for being kind. This is one of my all time favorite quotes and this is how I want to live my life.

“‘Shall we make a new rule of life… always try to be a little kinder than necessary?’…Kinder than necessary. What a marvelous line, isn’t it? Because it is not enough to be kind. One should be kinder than needed. Why I love that line, that concept, is that It reminds me that we carry with us, as human beings, not just the capacity to be kind, but the very choice of kindness. And what does that mean? How is it measured? You can’t use a yardstick. How do we know we’ve been kind? What is being kind, anyway?

In ‘Under the Eye of the Clock’ by Christopher Nolan, the main character is a young man who faces many extraordinary challenges. There’s this one part where someone helps him: a kid in his class. On the surface, it’s a small gesture. ‘It was at moments such as these that Joseph recognized the face of God in human form. It glimmered in their kindness to him, it flowed in their keenness, it hinted in their caring, indeed it caressed in their gaze.’… Such a simple thing, kindness. A nice word of encouragement given when needed. An act of friendship. A passing smile. If every single person in this room made it a rule that wherever you are, whenever you can, you will try to act a little kinder than is necessary- the world really would be a better place. And if you do this, if you act just a little kinder than necessary, someone else, somewhere, someday, may recognize in you, in every single one of you, the face of God.”-Wonder

Can’t wait to read your answers! Also, I would love to hear anyone’s answers in the comments:) Pick one or do them all!

With Love,

  1. You’ve done a good job in your narration. The emotion was there, the honesty. I admire your genuine talent. Nice work! I hope you could also follow my blog. Thank you so much. 😊

  2. Oh Jubilee! How amazing it is to get a glimpse as to who you are even with such a short – or long, tag. I loved it! Your heart screams out pure love and honesty. My 10 year old and I read the book Wonder together – great read for kids. The lines, ‘little kinder than necessary’ resonated with me. She was being teased at school for her Korean features, a similar experience happened to me back when I was her age. I was proactive in putting a stop to it. But, wouldn’t it be nice to see God in everyone? As you said, to just be a “little kinder than necessary.’ And yes, ‘we are far more alike than we are different’ because at the end, don’t we all not bleed the same color?!
